The Innovators’ Roast: A Monthly AI & Entrepreneurship Meetup in Long Island
It started with a coffee.
Tywana and I met at the Bay Shore Chamber of Commerce, and after a couple of good conversations (and even better lattes), we realized we wanted to create something new: a welcoming space for open conversations about AI, creativity, and entrepreneurship. No pitches, no panels; just real people, real questions, and real ideas.
So, we decided to create it ourselves.
We’re calling it The Innovators’ Roast — a monthly AI and entrepreneurship meetup on Long Island for folks who are curious, creative, or just caffeinated enough to think out loud. Whether you’re building a business, learning AI tools, or searching for your next spark of inspiration, this is a space to connect, explore, and grow.
No stage. No pressure. Just a table, a few minds, and some good coffee.
Why This Meetup Matters
I’ve spent most of my career in digital strategy and storytelling, working with both global brands and local startups. And while the tools have changed, hello, AI, one thing hasn’t: the power of community and conversation.
Now, I’m in a season of doing things that feel real. Collaborations that light me up. Projects that actually serve people. That’s what The Innovators’ Roast is about, not just talking tech, but making space for the kind of thought-provoking, sometimes hilarious conversations that help us all figure things out together.
This is about building momentum.
What’s Brewing Each Month:
• Honest conversations about AI, innovation, and tech trends
• Startup stories, creative brainstorming, and practical insights
• Local networking with entrepreneurs, creatives, and problem-solvers
• Great coffee. Even better ideas.
